Data Policy

This policy describes the information we process to support Synergy Data Analytics and other products and features offered by Synergy Data Analytics, Inc. (hereafter, “Synergy Products” or “Products”). You can find additional tools and information in your Synergy Data Analytics Settings.

I. What kinds of information do we collect?

To provide the Synergy Products, we must process information about you. The types of information we collect depend on how you use our Products. You can learn how to access and delete the information we collect by visiting your Synergy Data Analytics Settings.

1. Things you and others do and provide

  • Information and content you provide.
We collect the content, communications, and other information you provide when you use our Products. This includes when you sign up for an account, upload or share data, and communicate with others. Content may include metadata, such as timestamps or device information. Our systems automatically process your content and communications, as well as those provided by others, to analyze context and content for the purposes described below.

  • Data with special protections.
You may choose to provide information about your background, health, or other sensitive details. Such information could be subject to special protections under the laws of your country.

  • Networks and connections.
We collect information about the people, accounts, and organizations you interact with through Synergy Products. If you choose to sync or import contacts from your device (e.g., address books or call logs), we use this for features like helping you and others find connections and for other purposes listed below.

  • Your usage.
We collect information about how you use our Products, such as the types of content you interact with and the frequency or duration of your activities. For example, we log when you last accessed our dashboards or which visualizations you viewed.

  • Information about transactions made on our Products.
If you use our Products for purchases or other transactions, we collect information about these events (e.g., payment method, transaction date, shipping, and contact details).

  • Things others do and information they provide about you.
We also receive and analyze content, communications, and information that other users provide when they use our Products—this may include information about you, such as when another user shares data that references your account or organization.

2. Device Information

As described below, we collect information from and about the computers, phones, and other connected devices you use with our Products. We may combine this information across your devices to provide a consistent experience.

Information we obtain from these devices includes:

  • Device attributes: Details like operating system, hardware/software versions, available storage, and browser type.

  • Device operations: Information about operations performed on the device, such as window focus or mouse movements (which help us detect bots).

  • Identifiers: Unique device IDs and other identifiers associated with the same account or device.

  • Device signals: Bluetooth signals, and information about nearby Wi-Fi access points, beacons, and cell towers.

  • Data from device settings: Information you allow us to receive through device settings, such as access to GPS location, camera, or photos.

  • Network and connections: Information like your mobile operator or ISP, language, time zone, phone number, IP address, and connection speed.

  • Cookie data: Data from cookies stored on your device. Learn more in our Synergy Cookies Policy.

3. Information from partners

Third-party partners (e.g., advertisers, developers, publishers) can send us information through Synergy Business Tools (our APIs, SDKs, or tracking pixels). This includes data about your activities on their websites or apps—such as device details, pages viewed, and purchases. These partners are required to have lawful rights to collect, use, and share your data before providing any of it to us.

II. How do we use this information?

We use the information we have (subject to your choices) to provide and support Synergy Products and related services, as described below and in our Synergy Terms.

1. Provide, personalize, and improve our Products

  • Information across Synergy Products and devices:
We connect information about your activities on different devices to provide a consistent experience. For example, we can suggest customized data views or automatically fill in your details on multiple Synergy dashboards.

  • Location-related information:
We use location details (when enabled) to personalize your experience, such as showing you relevant business data based on your region.

  • Product research and development:
We use the information for research and to improve existing features, and also to develop new ones.

  • Ads and sponsored content:
Where applicable, we use your information to select and personalize ads, offers, or other sponsored content displayed within Synergy Products.

V. How can I manage or delete information about me?
